Here's my budget list for Hapatra.

Why Hapatra? At first glance, Hapatra seems to be a token commander, but I feel like this is actually an 'engine' deck similar to Brago or an Aristocrats deck. This brings two strategies that I like together.

Goals: Keep this list budget. Between 60-100$ preferably. If you cut Craterhoof Behemoth and some nonbasic lands, this should put it at 100$

Playstyle: Aiming to play Hapatra on turn 2 and build a -1/-1 machine gun to control the board and have lots of deathtouch snakes for defense. Then go high and wide with Beastmaster Ascension, Craterhoof Behemoth, Eldrazi Monument and the like. Alternate win with Ichor Rats and proliferate to slowly choke my opponents, and fun times with Necroskitter. Aside from the Ichor Rats, I decided not to play with Infect. If that's your game, there are a couple of budget options like Phyrexian Hydra and Phyrexian Swarmlord.
