Enchantment (1)

Green Enchantments!

This build is pretty early in its development and is currently just leaning on the fun-casual side, but something about it has sparked my interest (I love making new wonky ideas nobody has seen before and making them work) and i would love to see it become competitively viable some day. The deck has a lot of things going on and because of that it is currently lacking in consistency however it still performs better than i would expect. right now i'm just looking for ideas at the moment so any suggestions or criticisms would be greatly appreciated.

ANYWAYS... Here's what it's doing right now:

The big Idea is to abuse what i believe to be are the two most powerful "constellation" cards Strength from the Fallen and Eidolon of Blossoms, one of which is amazing for draw power and the other abusing the graveyard to make your critters Fk-huge. Good stuff, but how are we gonna do it this time?

Arachnus Spinner + Arachnus Web caught my eye when i was browsing around. dropping an enchantment at the tap of a spider at instant speed and it triggers constellation? and its great lock-down? and it falls off and you can perpetually drop it from your graveyard? shenanagins! i love it! but Arachnus Spinner has 6 CMC, yuck! but wait we're playing green so it's time to ramp up!

Elvish Mystic is good enough for mono green, but alone he doesn't ramp fast enough.

Enter Whisperer of the Wilds. Pretty much just another mana producer and potentially superior to most due to its ferocious ability, but normally it isn't reliable enough to trigger.

However if we can pair him/her (it?) up with Leatherback Baloth on the following turn we got ourselves a pretty quick, pretty sturdy beater. but what's this? he pumps devotion too? and so does Eidolon of Blossoms? and who likes devotion more than Nylea, God of the Hunt? so now we can play with devotion and beaters with trample and ramp and constellation?

And finally after ramping out our early game we can drop our Arachnus Spinner and immediately go nuts tapping our spiders and dropping Arrests that fizzle into the grave after a turn just to come back and re-trigger constellation (Arachnus Web). but this all seems pretty wishy-washy. devoting my whole early game to ramp is just asking for trouble from more efficient decks like control and fast red-deck-wins. how will I ever survive in the early game?

Spooky spooky nope spiders!

Deadly Recluse! good for chumpin' and deathtouch deterrent. Tap it in the late game and spin some webs.

Renowned Weaver! solid 1-drop and triggers constellation at the drop of a hat. Decent enough price for a 3 toughness blocker too. also webs.

Also Rancor!

Added Quest for Renewal for obvious reasons.

So anyways, i'm gonna see what i can do about making this as competitive and workable as possible, but if (when) that fails I'll probably splash black and add the spiders in the sideboard you see over there (and maybe Doomwake Giant) and make it a super fun theme deck!
