Monster Hunter, a game series I thoroughly enjoy.

Badass creatures, badass armor, badass weapons, all wrapped up in a really fun game with an addictive flow. Get gear, fight monster, get pieces, make better gear, fight monster, etc.

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about Show

Monster Hunter is a Japanese game series created by Capcom

It revolves around a Hunter (your player) in a world of Wyverns, essentially dragons.

You are a Monster Hunter, a fairly self explanitory name.

A Monster Hunter equips themselves in armor, ranging from cloth to plate mail, and over sized weapons, such as:

You then go out into the world and hunt monsters in a sytle that reminds me of Dark Souls(Kind of).

After killing monsters such as:

You make armor and weapons out of them to go hunt stronger and cooler monsters.

It was only a matter of time before I built this deck. It is an attempt to re-create the Humans of the world in MTG.

I focused on equipment and Humans/cats with sub themes of soldiers and knights. I also tried to keep it budget.

A Majority are just there because they are good, but I tired to fit the one's I included into the types of weapons in Monster Hunter.

• Stoneforge Masterwork Synergy with commander and many other types
• Veteran's Armaments Synergy
• Barbed Battlegear

Greatsword represented by Ogre's Cleaver

Longsword represented by No-Dachi

Sword and Shield represented by various cards, most were cut for quality reasons

Also represented by various cards. However, a majority of dual blades in monster hunter are claws, hence Captain's Claws

Hammers represented by Loxodon Warhammer

Lance/Gunlance represented by card:Moonsliver Spear

Switch Axe/Charge Blade represented by Scythe of the Wretched for some switch axes and Obsidian Battle-Axe

Most of the other cards are either creature support, removal, or equipment search.
