well although it looks like b/w warriors will not be a force on the pro tour. its still a good deck in standard. this aggro take can race alot of mono red builds ive played against. its done well at FNM and im happy with what its become. below is the breakdown of how it works

creatures

• Chief of the Edge boosts all warriors.. 2 mana 3/2. thank you very much.

• Battle Brawler first strike. can be a 4/2 with first strike on turn 3.

(side note) if your not running the above two creatures in your b/w warrior build..your flat out doing it wrong.

• Mardu Woe-Reaper 1drop with graveyard hate

• Bloodsoaked Champion raids himself back. you cant get rid of this guy unless you waste an exile spell on him

• Blood-Chin Rager with the ammount of creatires this deck runs with the low mana curve, blocking becomes a bigger headache for the opponent. plus im running alot of removal so there will be limited blockers as it is...i like this guy as a 4 of even though people debate him

• Arashin Foremost havine the ability to have a 4/2, 5/2 etc battle brawler with double strike and blood chin-rager in play.. makes your opponent sad, when is having double strike in play a bad thing?

• Brutal Hordechief ok.. 3/3 not bad. but the value with this card is awesome.. mana dump for getting creatures to block the way you want (see blood chin-rager) and a mini Lightning Helix on your attack phase. ya. this is a win con.

removal spells

• Bile Blight token hate. 3 toughness spot removal. obviously good card

• Hero's Downfall arguably the best straight up kill spell in the game. played accross multiple formats

• Banishing Light sorcery speed is the only drawback. exile is always good.

• Valorous Stance another good value card for the deck, options are a good thing, got a rhino or courser on the opposing board?, dead. wanna save your warrior bro from a grisly death?, indestructibility ftw.

• Ajani's Presence not a removal spell i know, but its used as one in this deck more often than not. think your gonna trade with a warrior?, wrong. 3 mana dump for strive?, sure.

other spells

• Sorin, Solemn Visitor i like his plus 1 (lifelink is really handy in the mirror match) and minus 6 but ive used his minus 2 against control decks.

• Spear of Heliod plays well with battle brawler and has extra value when something punches through (your an aggro deck.. why block, if you have mana open. kill that sht)

scry is always helpful Temple of Silence

some quick mana fixing Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

sideboard

im still working on this. probably more 1 drop warriors like dragong hunter etc..

• Dictate of Heliod had this in my mainboard but i think its better to bring in after game one. i like the flash in ablity over convome with obelisk of urd

• Pacifism extra removal if i need it

• Dark Betrayal 1 mana kill spell for black decks

• Secure the Wastes side in against board wipes

• Utter End exile against any non land. a bit pricey but a good option

• Ultimate Price we have alot of mono coloured creatures on standard, so it firs well in the side board

• Mardu Shadowspear probably side more of these guys in for the mirror match, and against mono red

• Mardu Strike Leader nice 2/1 tokens, from a creature you can dash, also in sideboard against control
