This is a deck I have been play testing online. I have all the paper cards so I'm looking to take it to FNM. I still like the mono black aggro deck despite everyone else playing the new multicolored decks.
Bloodsoaked Champion,Tormented Hero,Gnarled Scarhide- All 12 2/1 one drops.
Ulcerate- In my opinion, an extremely underrated card. Some feel 3 life is steep but this deck will deal damage faster than it takes it. -3/-3 can kill early creatures or weaken bigger creatures as a combat trick later in the game. The casting cost allows for a faster curve and to remain aggressive.
Pain Seer- 2/2 for 2. Draws cards for life. In aggro, that's huge.
Phyrexian Revoker- 2/1 for 2. The ability to shut down activated abilities has proven powerful. Shutting down planeswalkers and cards like Polukranos and Prognostic Sphinx has been awesome. (recent add)
Spiteful Returned Powerful early in the game or bestowed later on. Awesome against Caryatid.
Bile Blight Similar to Ulcerate but gets rid of multiples with no life loss.
Mogis's Marauder Helps punch attacking creatures through. Plain and simple.
Herald of Torment Flies over blockers and once bestowed, can make for a scary flier.
Master of the Feast 5/5 for 3. Flies over as well and can deal those final few points of damage before its drawback takes its toll. (recent add)
Hero's Downfall Kills creatures and planeswalkers. What more to you want?!
