Sideboard

I always wanted to play most of the creatures which are used in modern zoo, but decided to give it a twist, this more like a Knight of the Reliquary deck. The deck is pretty fast and effective, also because it makes use of the landfall trigger. It is definetly a fun deck to play, who doesn't like to swing for 8 with some Steppe Lynx! If you like the deck, please hit that Upvote button for me, thanks:)!

This deck is relatively fast and aggressive it easily generates mana to play Knight of the Reliquary fast. The typical one drops are obviously important on turn one Wild Nacatl+Steppe Lynx+Birds of Paradise. The next step is to combo out on the landfall trigger, Steppe Lynx being 4/5 is normal, but in combination Renegade Rallier can easily be 6/7! Retreat to Coralhelm is just a great card in this deck it allows to scry for the finishing pieces. But it can also untap your Knight of the Reliquary allow you to cycle through your lands and keeping the landfall trigger relevant. The Lightning Bolt's are more or less the finisher and great removal.

  1. Bring on the board your ussual 1 drop or Birds of Paradise to ramp. Turn two Lotus Cobra is fine to, allowing for some floating mana to cast your other creatures.
  2. Bring in to play Knight of the Reliquary allowing you to expand on the landfall trigger and make your kitties or Plated Geopede huge!
  3. Retreat to corralhelm and this is were the fun starts! Tap untap your Knight and start cycling through those lands, also cycle through your flagstone of trokair , bringing lots of Landfall triggers!!
  4. Creatures like Steppe Lynx and Plated Geopede become pretty big because of all the landfall triggers. Now you can start swinging for some serious damage and win the game.

I also added Azusa, Lost but Seeking I think this card is amazing in this deck when it hits and is not removed and it can also be played of Collected Company. I also like the potential of Vizier of the Menagerie in this deck we will see the coming games what he does.

For the spells I decided for a more agressive approach Zektar Shrine Expedition is great at putting your oponent on a clock. The other burns spells are great removal, I decided to run Boros Charm this card can save your creatures or can set up a lethal swing.

The sideboard is really flexible, I have 3 copies of Bant Charm in which I can almost transform the deck to more or less a counter zoo deck. The rest of the cards speak for themselves, which can be used for various match ups.

Good testing this weekend, not managed to get in a lot of wins. Decided that the deck is not aggressive enough against control or other black/control types of deck. I can not put pressure on my oponent fast enough and then I just gass out, even tough the deck works very well I decided to make a few changes. I added 3x Zektar Shrine Expedition and added 2x Boros Charm for the Path of Exile and Renegade Rallier. I had one slot open and decided to run a Scavenging Ooze in this slot. More wins next time;) Thanks for all the views and votes so far!
