Sideboard

Maybeboard

Hi! And welcome to me and Manskittle 's U/B Polymorph control deck.

Win Con

Our win con is similar to most polymorph decks, Polymorph a creature to get a bigger creature like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . Our deck just uses Mutavault to make the creature less vulnerable, and we can use the mana it produces to make it a creature (it comes in tapped though). After you get Emrakul, the Aeons Torn out it's pretty much game over.

Hand Destruction

Hand destruction is basic, turn one Inquisition of Kozilek or Thoughtseize or Duress to know how to play the game.

Removal

Just kill stuff you don't want to bash your face in.. That's really it... Our removal are limited to just a playset of Victim of Night in our mainboard.

Counterspells

With this deck it's easy to prioritize how to counter spells. We're running low CMC counterspells like Remand and Mana Leak so we can afford them in the early game. If you want to take the "safer" and more "budget" route to this deck switch out Mana Leak and Remand with Cancel and Dissolve.

Draw

Drawing cards gives us card advantage. We use cards like Serum Visions and Thirst for Knowledge .

Sideboard

3x Bile Blight: Used against token decks. This completely shuts down Splinter Twin and also helps against delver. being that I play delver I hate this card

4x Bitterblossom: Used against controlly decks after game 1. The opponent will switch out someting for removal and they won't be able to keep up with the continual production of faeries. This allows us to be able to Polymorph.

4x Elixir of Immortality: Used against burn decks or aggro. You'll use your counterspells and lose life and will want them back.

4x Pithing Needle: Used to completely shut down cards that have activated abilities. Ex: Splinter Twin.

Updates Add

APPLE01DOJ

Thank you APPLE01DOJ for the suggestion to replace Ultimate Price and Doom Blade for Victim of Night. It ended up saving sideboard space.

FAMOUSWATERMELON

Thank you FAMOUSWATERMELON for the suggestion to replace Blightsteel Colossus with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. We originally totally forgot of how vulnerable Blightsteel Colossus is. The protection from all colors is amazing to keep our win con going.

Saljen

Thank you Saljen for the suggestion to replace Read the Bones with Serum Visions. We originally wanted to stay below $300 but now we gathered plenty of money to afford a more expensive deck. Also thank you for the suggestion to add more things we can Polymorph such as Blinkmoth Nexus or Inkmoth Nexus. We decided to add 4x Blinkmoth Nexusin replacement of our 4x Dismal Backwater. Also thank you for the suggestion to add in Bitterblossom for another thing to Polymorph. We decided to add that into the sideboard against more controlly decks.

THANK YOU

Thank you all for leaving amazing suggestions. Have a great Day!
