2nd Draft —April 24, 2015

This is the first major update for the deck. Cut some of the flavor cards (Skeletal Crocodile, Dross Crocodile) for better ETB creatures and threw in a couple kill spells (Victim of Night, Doom Blade, Go for the Throat). Even with so few in they provide amazing value with Archaeomancer and Mnemonic Wall; I'm able to consistently recur the kill spells every turn if they are in play/in my graveyard.

My biggest suggestion is that your commander has to be a legendary creature. I would suggest possibly swapping this commander out for Sygg, River Cutthroat or Vela the Night-Clad

This is a Pauper EDH deck, as stated in the description; it has an uncommon creature as the commander and commons filling out the 99.

I think you've discovered something quite weird. A commander deck requires a legendary creature as your commander, but a pauper deck requires all your cards to be commons...I'm not sure which one rules out the other one though... JUDGE!

Looks like a good Pauper EDH deck. Good additions for drawing, mana rocks, etc. +1 for adding in the extra crocodile even though it doesn't do that much for you.

Also, I'd suggest including the rules for Pauper EDH in the description. Otherwise, you're likely to continue getting comments from people who don't know the format.

Thanks, and I'll add the rules to the description.

The other crocodiles are in there for swinging late game since I couldn't find many common beaters in Dimir besides Twisted Abomination. If you have some suggestions I'm all ears.

Cards like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Brainstorm can be used here as well as Ponder; also you need a legendary creature; lol jk I can actually read.

Here's a few more etb cards that could be fun:

Pith Driller, Vedalken Dismisser, and Ravenous Rats can all be useful for control.

Parasitic Strix and/or Bloodhunter Bat for some life gain.

Unless I missed something, Gravedigger is uncommon so I would swap that with Cadaver Imp.

Coral Barrier can keep giving blockers.

Liliana's Shade is gives some ramp and a late game big hitter, possibly paired with Shadow Alley Denizen.

Primal Plasma can be changed to whatever is most helpful for you at the moment.

I hope some of those help!

Thanks for the suggestions. Gravedigger is printed at common in a couple sets so it is eligible to be in the deck, TappedOut just used an uncommon version by default. I may switch it for Cadaver Imp, though; it costs less and is flying.

I really like Liliana's Shade, I'll find a way to fit it in. Coral Barrier is also neat, I'll try it out as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!
