Ayli, Eternal Engine

Commander / EDH*

AkrosTheClear

Maybeboard

Enchantment (1)

Artifact (1)

This deck is very fun to play, but horrible to play against. Ayli, Eternal Engine is responsible for the most scoops I have ever seen while playing magic. I don't take this deck out very often because I know how bad it feels to have nothing but lands on the battlefield and no cards in hand.

The last time I played this deck it was supposed to be a 4 player free for all but it soon turned into a 3 vs 1. I by turn 4 I set up a recurrable board wipe using False Prophet that could exile all creatures every turn. A couple of turns later I replaced that board wipe with a Dictate of Erebos for a little bit of more surgical control. The three players quit when I threw down Sadistic Hypnotist and made them discard their entire hands.

A mean deck that makes people kill themselves rather than suffer the helpless feeling of not being able to have any nonland permanents. It is a problem that I have no real win conditions in the deck that can make kills, but forcing people into a pit of despair seems pretty effective I guess.
