Any consideration for Immaculate Magistrate to combo with Joraga Warcaller?

Glad you noticed haha! I did some play testing with it and it was a bit slow, thanks for the suggestion though.

i was playtesting your deck and i found antoher infinite combo with Heritage Druid+Essence Warden + 2xCloudstone Curio and 2 other 1 drop elves.

  1. have Heritage Druid in play with Essence Warden and 2 Cloudstone Curio and a 1 drop elf and a 1 drop elf in hand and a land.

2.tap the 3 for mana, cast the 1 drop elf(with land) (GGG in mana pool), bounce 2 to hand, cast a 1 drop elf (dont use bounce trigger) cast the other, (2 bounce triggers on the stack)(G in mana pool), tap 3 elves(GGGG in mana pool), bounce 2 to hand, then repeat the process for infinite mana and life.

Note: u gain a G mana each time u do this

What is the purpose of the Snow Covered Forest?

BarfQuackers says... #11

Crystalite It's just sentimental the first land I ever got it's not necessary in the deck, forgot to put that in the description lol

Absolutely fantastic deck. I love that MonoGreen can outpace damn RDW; and tribal has always been a favourite archetype of mine.

Maybe I'm missing something but how is this possible T2?

You can have a maximum of 3 mana from 2 lands and a Llanowar Elves or Elvish Mystic. You cannot possibly play Cloudstone Curio + Heritage Druid + Nettle Sentinel and still tap three Elves (one already tapped for mana) for the GGG off the Heritage Druid to go infinite...

July 12, 2015 7:46 p.m.

DomRedhawk says... #19

Only possible if you play

T1: Land, Nettle Sentinel

T2: Land, Heritage Druid + Nettle Sentinel .

Tap all 3 Elves for GGG. Play the Cloudstone Curio and another one drop for GG, activating both Nettle Sentinels and the Cloudstone Curio. Return the Heritage Druid to hand, replay for your last G, activating Cloudstone Curio again to return the other one drop.

Tap all three Elves again for GGG, play the one drop, returning Heritage Druid to hand and untapping the Nettle Sentinels. Replay the Heritage Druid and tap the 3 Elves for GGG, this time leaving G left over. Repeat this last part infinitely.

DomRedhawk You're correct looking over my notes my second one drop was actually a second Nettle Sentinel, thanks for catching that.

No worries. Wasn't sure if you'd missed something from the description or I just wasn't understanding!

The correct course of action is in the example section of the description, will fix the rest of the description tomorrow.

Edit: lol I would have never noticed if you didn't point it out

I wrote most of this half asleep that's why all the info is scattered, again thanks though I would have never noticed.

I liked the deck so much I've adapted it slightly to suit my playstyle. Added 4 Gitaxian Probe to increase the chances of comboing off T2. Added a couple more things to use the Infinite mana and infinite flicker on too, namely Emrakul, Ulamog and Thragtusk. Would love to hear your thoughts.
