This deck is built around summoning zombies as much as possible and using their sheer numbers to drain opponents of life. It plays off of trying to double the amount of life lost by doubling upkeeps or doing additional damage on end step and what have you.

Paradox Haze gives additional triggers for The Scarab God. Oracle of Dust allows us to rip creatures from exile just to exile them again. Wound Reflection allows us to get double damage off of our commander, and even more so if played with Paradox Haze.
