Pulled a foil Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves at WAR prerelease, so I had to build it.

Wolves are definitely a subpar tribe. They don't have much support outside of a few Werewolf cards from innistrad blocks and Tolsimir himself, and don't have a unifying theme (other than draft chaff). Luckily, Tolsimir is powerful enough that even overcosted vanilla creatures become terrifying when they're able to take down opposing creatures. Throw in a Vigor and your wolves will become stronger when they fight, or throw in some token producers with Tolsimir and gain massive amounts of life.

The best part of wolves? You get to play with both banding and infect !

Skalla Wolf

Fierce Witchstalker

Unfortunately The Big Bad Wolf is kind of... meh? And in this deck he's even worse, since his first ability does nothing because Tolsimir already does it, and his second ability does nothing because the only source of food is the other new wolf, Fierce Witchstalker. Witchstalker is actually pretty decent because a 4 mana 4/4 with Trample is fantastic stats (for a wolf), and the deck runs a few lifegain payoffs to make the food a little more relevant. Skalla Wolf gets kicked out because it's just really bad.
