Sideboard

This list is really about getting threats on the board and using them to create a tempo your opponent can't beat. Glint sleeve artisan is a beast and lets you usually draw the turn after you play her if you can find an attune turn one. Winding constrictor allows you to get 2 energy every time you attack with the artisan and then if you can combo that with having a longtusk cub on the field you're already 2/3rds of the way there. Walking ballista on turn 4 with a constrictor out just ruins people's day, not to mention blocking something like a gear hulk and then shooting the player in the face with an unavoidable 3 points of dmg.

Went 3-1 in a standard showdown last night and tied with two other people for first! ( believe me I don't think it's possible to tie that way with two other people but hey I guess it woks out either way:p match one was against B/U tezzeret control deck, first game I attuned on turn one and played glint sleeve artisan on turn two before my opponent could even get enough mana down to horribly awry it. On turn used the artisans ability to draw and lose a life and I drew into a constrictor and a gearhulk. I played a cub on that turn because when I swing next turn I can just pump and send cub on his way through the front gates! Gearhulk came down turn 5 and I just ended it. Game two was pretty much the same except I found a ballista on turn 3 with a snake already out and I shocked him with my remaining mana. Round 2 was against a mirror match except with sylvan advocates and long story short 80 counters later I found a key to the city and rammed through with a 34,34 cub. Game two was a little different because I didn't see a constrictor the whole game but I drew 3 ballistas and they proved to much to be dealt with! Another 2-0 match win. Round 3 I faced a green red aggro we both flooded until about turn 8 but I had a ballista come in while there were two snakes down and just controlled him from then on adding extra counters every turn. Game two he conceded because I turn 2 snake into a ballista turn 3 and then a rishkar turn 4 and a gearhulk turn 5:p round 4 I'm the last undefeated and yet there's another effing round.. I get paired up against my best friend who is the best player I know and even has a pro point.. game one going against his marvel deck he wiffed his first attempt at the marvel and I was able to do lethal that same turn. Game two and three were just dreadful.. he got awtherwind basker out both games and in the last game he had 21 energy to put into him, sad day.. I had to chump block with 2 snakes and a gearhulk only taking 4 from trample which is impressive I could stop it but he just did it again next turn and got me. So in the end the guy I faced in round 3 had beaten my buddy but my buddy had beaten me and I had beaten the guy who beat my buddy and we all needed up tying! Super fun list I hope you all enjoy:)
