Idea is use Trial of Ambition along the Cartouche of Ambition and Cartouche of Knowledge to force opponent sacrifice its creatures.
Vizier of Many Faces is a staple as you can copy the best of the creatures your opponent performs before he has to sacrifice them, plus don't be afraid of discard it with
Trial of Knowledge
he can return to the battlefield thanks to his Embalm ability.
Archfiend of Ifnir deals with aggro and token creatures very well, just use the cycle ability of the Fetid Pools or the discard ability of
Trial of Knowledge
to weaken your opponent's force. You can do a devastating effect having accumulated 8 or 9 cards in your had after a cartouche has being played. Discard down to 7 cards at the end of the turn will be a very annoying side effect to your opponent's creatures.
Slither Blade is the perfect target for both cartouches, specially Cartouche of Ambition, as you can gain life every turn until you opponent can rid off it by any mean.
Baleful Ammit
is also a nice target for the Cartouche of Knowledge, a 4/3 or 5/4 flying with lifelink is not a bargain, and only for 5 mana total.
Your resources will replenish with the
Trial of Knowledge
and sinerged with both cartouches and the Archfiend.
Finally you get Cruel Reality for finishing the agony of your opponent's creatures or if you have deal with all of them, he or she gets 5 point damage every upkeep.
Trespasser's Curse is also a powerful dissuasive weapon for you opponent's fill the battlefield with many creatures.
To keep the budget low I chose to use
Submerged Boneyard
and not the expensive double lands that are not so useful in the midterm game and in the early stages you do not need too much speed either, so you can lose a turn to get the mana if needed. Evolving Wilds will help you in getting the mana you need as well.
Added
Disappearing Act
as you can counter a spell AND return Trial of Ambition to your hand OR a cartouche to trigger again the Trial/Cartouche combos.
Ideas of suitable cards for main and sideboard are very welcome.
