This deck is one I've been playing and working on for a while now. It performed well against the majority of the metagame with some stumbling in the UW match-up, now that Aether Revolt and the bans are out I hope it will continue to prove powerful moving forward.

Basic plan is to just curve into Bruna, the Fading Light then meld. Beyond that the early game cards give decent bodies that also draw cards allowing them to be useful even if drawn late into the game. Duskwatch Recruiter   Especially can be extremely good when dealing with being mana flooded and if not dealt with well can allow you very efficient plays due to the cost reduction on it's flip side.Removal is pretty standard, I've been seeing less RG energy lately so I've moved Blessed Alliance to the sideboard in favour of Declaration in Stone which is far more useful against Delirium and BR aggro. Stasis Snare is just a good all round card, no reason not to run it.Gideon is just too good not to run, his emblem bumps many of my angels out of easy removal range and allows Gisela, the Broken Blade to deal with an Ishkanah, Grafwidow by herself.

New in Aether Revolt is a card I'm very excited about, at least unless proved otherwise through testing: Lifecrafter's Bestiary, the scry allows similar filtering to the loot on Smuggler's Copter as long as you don't care for filling the grave, which I usually don't. While being able to draw for each creature by paying G is invaluable in slower match-ups. I will likely side it out very quickly against aggro but for now it will stay in the Main Deck.

Finally my personal favourite card: Sigarda, Heron's Grace is a card I originally slotted in just for Emrakul protection but has since become a card I love to see in most matchups. There is so much 'target opponent' in the current standard that she forces the opposing player into uncomfortable positions, forcing them to deal with a 4/5 flier before playing what they want, often delaying it by at least one turn or even preventing it entirely. More often than not they simply do no realise the interaction until it's too late, I've had many opponents even at PPTQs play Emrakul and miss the trigger or sacc their board to flip Voldaren Pariah   only to have it fizzle. More practically, it protects from removal like To the Slaughter and the humans I played before her from spot removal, including keeping Gideon safe from Stasis Snares as he is human whilst a creature. Not a great card but a card I very much enjoy playing with and one that I have had great success with.

Sideboard plan is simple, generic hate for walkers and artifacts as well as an additional copy of Sigarda for match ups where I value either of her passive uses highly. Skysovereign, Consul Flagshipis a searchable card from Lancers that can deal with a variety of threats from small creatures to planeswalkers while dodging a fair amount of removal.

Maybe cards will depend on the meta once it forms. Skywhaler's Shot may replace Snare if Gideon isn't as popular and with a lot of artifact hate no doubt floating around enchantments will be far less consistent anyway. If the meta becomes dominated by control I'll look to Seasons Past to give me the staying power to play a long game with them without running out of threats.
