I was Pondering something for a while: Mardu Warrior Aggro. After giving it a lot of thought, I concluded that breaking it down to just White/Black made it faster and more reliable.
The Pros of Keeping This Deck W/B:
I need to play only one scry-temple for this deck's land base, thus decreasing the number of tapped lands I play and speeding up the overall tempo.
If I go Mardu, I will play way too many three converted mana cost spells, and won't have too many one or two drops. It also allows me to play
Sign in Blood
, which would be too color intensive for the Mardu deck.
Aggro decks in the metagame nowadays tend to prey upon decks that play tapped lands.
