I love aggressive decks, nothing makes you feel more in control then out numbering your foe. But a lot of these "weeny' decks are just that week. Low power ruleless units that do little to no damage that allow you to block and attack every turn because of thier considerable numbers. So when i was looking for a aggro build i wanted to find out just how i could turn each little weeny into a un-ignorable menace. That my friends is best achieved with the knight.
This deck utilize these low cost but professional knights armed with synergism to proved as many game wining rules to every summoned creature on the field. It has been created to proved the Op rules of protection and double strike as often as possible. Wile still fielding amazing denial sells in the form of Rebuff the Wicked, Oblivion Ring and Pacifism. You will can and will combat most game wining combos or those inconvenient super creatures.
In Play
It will be extremely important to draw and play one of the many key synergy cards (Concerted Effort, Kinsbaile Cavalier, Honor of the Pure). In its current build this deck will not have tokens to soak large amounts of damage so its going to be important to utilize First Strike and its better cuz Double Strike to deter and beat down those bruisers. Warning this deck despite it being an aggressive will only win early in the first 4-6 turns by a run of good luck. Expect to be parrying attacks and spells until a Concerted Effort / Brave the Elements and double strike give your pumped up knights a clear shot allowing you to deal into the teens of damage directly to your now pale and angered opponent.
Protections are at the core of this build trading out color protection from side board should be done to maximize bonus.
Combos!!!Concerted Effort Knight Exemplar, Kinsbaile Cavalierwill provide Double Strike, Protection, Indestructible and flying to all knights. OMTFC
Elixir of Immortality, Emeria, The Sky Ruin, Ajani's Mantra will give you the edge in late games.
Battle RepBlooded my Knights in a 2 wins to 1 loss against Discard Deck of Pain (most everything made me discard and cost life when i did). Students of War proved invaluable getting two or more is extremely painful as low summoning cost and synergy with double strike and flying make for short games.Will link his deck if it ever gose public.
Black beware as this deck is given many sideboard options to render all but the vilest tactics inert.
Update 1I have removed Etched Champions in favor of creatures with particular protection. This deck will benefit most form side boarding substitutes and equipment for protections vs opponents.
Update 2Removed 1 Hero of Bladehold to add Puresteel Paladin removed 1 Fiendslayer from side deck and added 2x Stillmoon Cavalier for anit white and black
If facing Mana of Black add Sword of Feast and Famine and/or Sword of Light and Shadow , Mirran Crusader , Lightwielder Paladin , Fiendslayer Paladin, Stillmoon Cavalier
If facing Mana of White add Sword of Light and Shadow and/orSword of War and Peace, Stillmoon Cavalier
If facing Mana of Green add Sword of Feast and Famine and/or Mirran Crusader, Sword of Body and Mind
If facing Mana of Blue add Sword of Fire and Ice and/or Sword of Body and Mind
If facing Mana of Red add Sword of Fire and Ice and/or Sword of War and Peace , Fiendslayer Paladin
