Sideboard

Updated deck.

I'm new to MTG, so go easy on me. Still trying to get better at crafting decks and finding good combos. This can win in 6-7 turns but has enough control to sustain longer games if need be.

Play a Merfolk on turn 1 to add a few cards to the opponents graveyard.

On turn 2, get a Gargoyle on to the battlefield.

Turn 3, play another Merfolk and Gargoyle. Your gargoyles are now free to attack, and can still serve as blockers until the following turn.

Turns 4 and 5 should be control hands for you, preventing the player from evening up the board and/or destroying your gargoyles. 'So Tiny' is a fantastic one mana card that effectively serves as a cheap removal spell at this point since there should be plenty of cards in their graveyard to get you the full effect of the card.

Your gargoyles should be able to win the game at this point, but if not, use Jace, Haunt of Hightower, and Merfolks to finish off your opponent.
