What started as a simple Mardu Gearhulk Reanimator deck has changed a bit; the original discard then Refurbish plan is still there, but I threw in everyone's favorite angel horrors Bruna, the Fading Light and Gisela, the Broken Blade. These two angels and the horrifying monstrocity they meld into are perfect for the deck: Gisela helps me stay in the game with her lifelink and when Bruna brings back Gisela, Prized Amalgam comes along for the ride. Plus, Brisela, Voice of Nightmares is a real powerhouse in standard; most standard staples have a CMC of 3 or less.

Island / Spirebluff Canal / Mountain / Inspiring Vantage / Plains / Concealed Courtyard / Swamp

I'm pretty happy with what I have so far, but there's always room for improvement. How could I improve my mana base? What should I put in my sideboard? Are there any cards that should really be included in the main deck? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

After some complete flops during playtesting, I decided to completely rebuild the deck using dredge decks as inspiration. Funnily enough, the new version came out fairly similar to the old one, but with the following changes:

-4x Evolving Wilds

+2x Mountain

-2x Fatal Push

-2x Cultivator's Caravan

-3x Radiant Flames

+1x Refurbish

+1x Tormenting Voice

+1x Combustible Gearhulk

+1x Haunted Dead

+4x Insolent Neonate

I'm still working on the new sideboard; that's probably where all of the non Gearhulk removal will be.
