Just some soul sisters token life gain for casual play.

I would definitely like some help on this deck.

This is just some budget fun and I think B/W tokens is actually a pretty solid deck.

I am definitely going to build this up putting more money into it for stuff like Auriok Champion and other things. This is just a starting out budgeted rough draft. I have the playset of Bitterblossom from a faerie deck I have already so it definitely makes the cut, it's the only thing that's not really budgeted for the most part.

So please leave some comments and suggestions; thanks you!

If you manage to maintain some token presence, Harsh Sustenance could be good.

I also had a deck built on dumping everything into Secure the Wastes on their end step (w/ x=5+), dropping a Brutal Hordechief and swinging with everything.

Anointed Procession is gonna be good with white tokens, though your curve may not like it. :P

Anguished Unmaking's life cost shouldn't be an issue with all the life gain, but it may mess up you're curve as well.

KABO5e awesome suggestions!

All of those cards are pretty stellar.

Anguished unmaking will probably make the sideboard if it isn't on the main for the fact it can deal with planeswalkers.

Once again thank you!

Since you're running 4 Soul's Attendant, you might consider running Soul Warden just as additional copies.

I know they are expensive, but look into Auriok Champion. Does all that you want and is really hard to remove!

albino_ninja yeah man that's definitely something I need in here, thanks for the comment

A few other things, since is your greatest enemy, I would sideboard some Burrenton Forge-Tender. Help counter those burn sweeps.

When I was running this deck in Modern, I found that my greatest success was running Elspeth, Knight-Errant over Sorin, Solemn Visitor. I know Sorin's +1 ability is very tempting, But Elspeth has more utility and her ult is what you really need!

If you want any more inspiration or ideas, feel free to check out the deck I ran before I discovered the joys of Affinity. LOL B/W Tokens (Competitive)

albino_ninja awesome man, you've been very helpful.

I think you are right about elspeth over sorin

And I'll definitely take a look at that, thanks again man!

I know youre only playin casual, but Bitterblossom is huge here! Also, a good white card against the meta right now is Mirran Crusader

July 22, 2017 9:03 p.m.

Bulldawg1310 yeah man I have a playset of Bitterblossom from a faerie deck and I'm considering just throwing it in since I do have it already.

And Mirran Crusader seems like a real solid card

I would go with bitterblossom if youre plannin on either A(goin competitive, in which case you should also run Auriok Champion and Dark Confidant Brimaz, King of Oreskos or B just kickin ass at your casual games, in which case no other changes are really needed.

July 22, 2017 9:26 p.m.

Bulldawg1310 bitterblossom is probably going to go in here, it honestly may as well; no real reason not to.

Auriok Champion is definitely something I plan on putting in here after working up the budget for it.

As for Dark Confidant I never really thought about putting him in but he could probably replace the 2 Phyrexian Arena I have in here.

Brimaz is something I've had my eye on as well

The strength in the tokens strategy doesn't lay purely in the ability to generate a lot of virtual card advantage but rather in grinding opponents out of the game.

I would value Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek over the Sisters by a fairly large margin, replace Castigate, and I'd run at least 6 of this effect, if not 7.There's no reason you shouldn't be running Fatal Push, between Push and Path to Exile again 6 or 7 of this effect is good. Cut Harsh Sustenance I've never seen it and not wished it was something else. Phyrexian Arena is also so-so.

Hero of Bladehold is fantastic in the side but I'm unconvinced with the sisters in there as they mean that your opponent may not board out all of their spot removal, I've often brought Hero out in game 2 to completely steal the game and they have no way of dealing with her as they've boarded out all their spot removal.

Consider Concealed Courtyard It's probably the single best land this deck can run as it's pretty greedy as far as colour requirement on different parts of the curve goes.

Lastly you can always shave a Bitterblossom if need be, it seems counter-intuitive but having 2 is usually not very good.

Sorin is fantastic in this deck, Anguished Unmaking has often saved an otherwise difficult situation. Secure the Wastes can steal games pretty hard, and Zealous Persecution has a lot of versatility, it often acts as a board wipe if not stealing the game.

As far as the sisters go, in practice this deck is very good at utilising life totals as a resource, it doesn't always need the sisters help though but personal preference

@Gruzihr i dont understand your analysis above, you first said how important it is to grind out your opponents, then proceeded to say that more than one bitterblossom isnt good... thats precisely what BB is for. And with the sisters out, youre gaining life for free fliers. While i agree with your assessment of the spot removals, i also disagree with the statement that the sisters are not an intrical part of a soul sisters deck.

July 26, 2017 7:25 p.m.

Gruzihr Thank you for the feedback, I'm aware this is not a competitive deck.

I have this as a starting out budgeted rough draft. As time goes on I'll put more money into it when I can. But you're right the budget isn't the only thing that could use changes.

The fatal pushes will come in when I get fetches most likely, though revolt wouldn't be too difficult to trigger anyway.

Once again thank you, I always appreciate the help!

Bulldawg1310 Sorry I must have been unclear, I meant that having more than one in play. It seems counter-intuitive as I've said it's just in my experience if 2 are putting you in a position where you're just winning then any token producer would do the same, if it isn't then the second copy doesn't put that much pressure over 1, sometimes even doing more harm than good.

Hunson_Abadeer I don't mean to sound condescending :) I only mean to say what I've found from playing it the last few years. As it stands the list doesn't look bad aside from Sustenance. It's a fun deck though.

Gruzihr, no you were perfectly clear and you reiterated clearly as well. You still dont make sense, assuming youve 2 soul sisters out, and 2 bitterblossom. Actually, screw it, lets say 2 BB and only 1 of the sisters, you just you pay 2 life, get two tokens, gain two life from them entering, and you just broke even, as far as life total goes but ya just got 2 fliers, its basicallt fliers for free. That coupled with Intangible Virtue is deadly. The more blossoms on the board, the better, my friend.

July 27, 2017 2:10 p.m.

Gruzihr I agree that bitterblossom can drain your life total down; however I have the soul sisters to counteract and with more than one sister out I am actually gaining life. I've got much more lifegain in here to fight against it as well. I genuinely appreciated the feedback

Bulldawg1310 thanks for getting my back man, you're a real pal!

Hunson_Abadeer, no problem. I love sisters decks, and hate unsolicited, unwarranted, bad advice!

Hunson_Abadeer this is true, with the sisters it shouldn't be an issue.

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad over Sorin, Solemn Visitor?

Same cost with one less loyalty, but the +1 makes a token while the -1 gives the anthem.

July 28, 2017 9:10 p.m.

KABO5e says... #22

Suture Priest fits the theme well, too. Though, may be more of a sideboard vs another token deck.

July 28, 2017 9:19 p.m.

KABO5e I have considered that switch but the lifegain from solemn visitor is a lot stronger. I've considered cutting one to make room for at least one of the sorin lord of innistrad

And suture priest is a card I hadn't even thought about!
