Mono - black control or more fervently known as 8-Rack or hate rack or my personal favorite pack Rack. The deck struggles in modern depending on the shifting meta but, for that same reason it can easily win at the FNM level and even top eight out of nowhere! The game plan is simple get as many racks and affliction's out with Liliana and with conjunction with the rest of the deck, which is discard. slowly drain you opponent of their precious life and cards!!! I'm going out on a limb assuming that a play set of dismember and Liliana are enough removal, but aggro and creature based deck are over 50% of the modern meta. so you might want more in the side board. I prefer surgical extraction or pithing needle so you only have to deal with a troublesome card once. waste not is a solid two of in the main or side.rest in peace is not an option in this color against graveyard shenanigans so grafdigger's cage or bust. Raven's Crime and Dakmor Salvage have a neat little interaction so that's solely why we have two. I've found that four mutavault fucks the Mana curve with or without a playset of Urborg so im running three. Thoughtseize is actually not as good like in other decks at least not late game.
