Description

Possibly taking this to a large tournament next month, so all help is very much appreciated.

This is straight R/W Burn, a version that i believe to be better than Naya because it can take less damage from its own lands as well as play 4 Lightning Helix mainboard. This dramatically increases many matchups in the very aggressive modern format.

Thanks!

I think I would make a few adjustments to the sideboard. My list is exact on creatures and instants/sorceries, minor adjustments on the land, but our sideboards are a bit different.

I would sub one of the Inspiring Vantage for a Stomping Ground, and replace the 4 Wear/Tear with Destructive Revelry. It isnt very often when you need to kill both an artifact and an enchantment on the same turn, and you want as many spells as possible damaging the opponent, which DR does and wear/tear does not.

I believe in also dropping down a Deflecting Palm. I can't think of too many situations you would want to sub in 3. With the two cards you now have free, I advocate 2 Rest in Peace. Stops Delver, makes the Goyf a wuss, and other general graveyard shenanigans.

I do not know what your meta looks like, but if you add in Rest in Peace, change the Relics to Stony Silences. Stops both affinity and lantern control in their tracks.

But otherwise, the only other thing I might change would is the amount of fetches, but 11 is not unheard of and is pretty standard for most lists. I wish you the best in your tournament!

Thanks for your thoughts, Aneon!

Would you mind sharing your sideboard and landbase?
