The Goal: Cheat! I want to spend minimal mana to just windmill-slam creatures right out of my deck, directly onto the battlefield. Instant speed and uncounterable - this deck is deceptively simple, but it actually has a lot of flexibility and tricks that people aren't really expecting. The best description I can give is that "It Timmy's so hard, it forces everyone else down to it's level, and then beats them with experience."

I don't want to hard-cast ANYTHING that costs more than 6CMC. Period. No enchantments, no artifacts, nothing. If it costs more than 4CMC, then it better be awesome, because I want to be cheating out a creature EVERY. SINGLE. TURN. Once this deck gets going (which can be as early as turn 3, it's hard to slow it down because it gets very threatening, very fast.

-----((Tutors and Cheats))-----

Defense of the Heart will either let me set up a brutal board state, or just outright win on my turn. Tooth and Nail functionally is the same card, and with all the non-basic land tutoring, I regularly cast this using Boseiju, Who Shelters All and have an un-counterable win-con.

Lurking Predators best case scenario, you have Crystal Ball out and you control what's the top card of your deck. Worst case scenario, you're flying blind and still filtering your deck and getting free creatures. Since this is a CAST trigger, your creature resolves before their spell does. I have dropped an Archetype of Endurance and made kill spells fizzle; I've also hit Avacyn, Angel of Hope in response to a Wrath of God. This card can be insane value, or it can be 6CMC for a single trigger - it's a little high-variance, but it's always fun to see what happens.

Green Sun's Zenith is usually to get either Oracle of Mul Daya, Knight of the Reliquary (to start stacking your mana base with all your non-basics) or Seedborn Muse - I've used it once to pull up a Craterhoof Behemoth, and that is literally the only time I ever cast it for more than 5.

Congregation at Dawn is easily the best tutor in this deck. Cast it on somebody else's turn, stack my draw, and my Mayael activation. Make myself draw something small, then the second card is the one I want to pull straight from my library to the battelfield, and the 3rd creature doesn't even matter (usually another mana dork, so it's out of the way of Mayael's next activation). This is also a fun interaction with Lurking Predators - "Oh you cast a Obliterate? Lurking Predators triggers, and I'll cast Congregation at Dawn in response, put Avacyn, Angel of Hope on top of my library, then directly into play. Thanks for blowing up everything that wasn't mine."

Eladamri's Call is usually going for a small creature, but if I have Quicksilver Amulet out, it'll be for whatever threat I need. Again, if it's going to my hand, it should be small or it should be cheat-able.

Worldly Tutor is my second best tutor. Same function as Congegation at Dawn but only for one creature. This can be for big or small. Again, stacks amazingly with Lurking Predators - play literally any creature in your deck for 1 mana.

Mosswort Bridge, Windbrisk Heights and Spinerock Knoll are all fun ways to cheat fatties into play. Spinerock Knoll is extra-fun because it doesn't even require you to deal the 7 damage. These also do a good job at drawing any targeted land destruction away from things like Maze of Ith or Homeward Path which are both value cards in this deck.

Updates Add

I've been running this at a monthly Commander Tournament and slowly swapping out under-performing cards. It's a semi-competitive environment, and I'm pretty consistently in the top 15% of the players there. Overall as I get everything dialed in, I think I can really bring Mayael to a competitive level for multi-player.
