Hi, Thanks for taking the time to check out my Izzet Control deck! Ive been play testing this deck on TappedOut since most of these cards hit spoiler release and have found a great working synergy of the cards to win you some games while having some fun annoying, countering and burn your enemies away, Ive had some really good success against alot of the new meta teir 1 decks and hope people get to try this type of deck out while you can its hell of fun to play.

The aim of the deck is to get Niv-Mizzet, Parun Out as early as possible while stopping your opponent from casting or build up to quickly and then using your spells to be able to burn out your opponent's life total or even little annoying tokens or creatures.

UPDATE 4/10 So i've made some majorish changes to the all round play of the deck currently added in a Sarkhan, Fireblood Reason being he helps bring out Niv-Mizzet, Parun on turn 4 great little combo with his +1 to add ANY Colour mana to cast a dragon and having Niv out early changes the whole game being able to draw cards and blow off peoples smaller creatures for no work is great and then if you get him up to 7 Loyalty you now have a dragon army at your disposal. Also added in some cheaper spell to help draw out Niv or Ral in Opt and then Shock to help with pesky smaller creatures early.

Some news on the Sideboard, I added Thousand-Year Storm The Immortal Sun As some fill ins for some of your bigger mana spenders later in the game and they also work well with both Nezahal, Primal Tide and Niv-Mizzet, Parun Making them strong be able to gain some more cards and also stop your opponents Planeswalkers.
