A rather standard Sacrifice-based deck, headed by Bontu the Glorified. The main methods of victory are combos utilizing Ashnod's Altar, Nim Deathmantle and a persist creature such as Geralf's Messenger. Of course, there are other paths to victory, such as reanimation, value creatures or creating unfair card-draw engines, such as using Skullclamp with Reassembling Skeleton repeatedly. I may tone down the combo aspect in the future, as I like variety when I try to win.

Why Bontu?I chose Bontu the Glorified as the commander out of a morbid-kind of curiosity, as everyone I know or play with dismisses the Amonkhet Gods as bad/unplayable in Commander, and while I think there are some different options for Commander's, I think Bontu brings an interesting amount to the table. Sure, you could use Yahenni, Undying Partisan, a free sac outlet and a threat to boot, or use Ghoulcaller Gisa and make your creatures into an army, or even just use Sidisi, Undead Vizier and tutor out any cards you need. Yes, you COULD use those cards, and they're all very powerful in their own right, but Bontu offers a more fair, and I dare say more fun, way to play Mono-Black sacrifice. Because whats the point of playing Commander if you're just going to go straight for the main-stream cards, when there are so many more interesting ones to choose from. So that lead me to the creation of this deck. Yes, I am using a lot of the more common cards for these decks, as it does need to function, but I got to try out a lot of neat cards that don't really do much for other similar decks.
