As with most casual decks I make I had an idea, what if I used Act of Treason style cards and Fling style cards as a main part of a R/G deck? More importantly, how much can I mess with my friends with a deck like this...

This deck is a lot of fun to pilot. Early turns you're setting up the board with mana dorks and stability creatures like Scourge of Skola Vale and Fanatic of Xenagos . Your opponent will begin to wonder just what is going on with that hydra. As they should, because you're going to use it to seriously mess with them.

So those 'gain control' spells are pretty fun, and you have 10 of them at your disposal, 4 of which have a very manageable strive effect. You can now begin to steal your opponents creatures with them and attack them and then feed your Scourge of Skola Vale which will be SO happy! If you're not feeling like feeding them to your hydra you could also just Fling them at your opponents face. Oh and Fall of the Hammer is an excellent way to really crush their spirit especially if you attack them, use the hammer to get rid of any blockers and then feed your hydra! So many fun ways to ensure your opponent never sees their beloved creature again.

Now on top of these we have 4 Oracle of Bones which is fun! If it's your first time playing against an opponent who is clueless to this deck when presented with the oracle they will most often not pay tribute as a 3/1 is a lot easier to manage than a 5/3. This decision is wrong, see the above paragraph for why. Once you do this to your opponent they will most likely scowl at you and never let you have the option to do this again, but you'll have 5/3 oracles with haste going for you, which is nice.

There are a couple other fun cards in here, Life's Legacy because sometimes you just need to slaughter a unicorn that your friend owns and use it to draw cards. Oh and Momentous Fall which is just mean even if you cast it on your own hydra. Goblinslide is fun if you have extra mana, the goblins make decent hydra food. Oh and Ghor-Clan Rampager that's there to be bloodrushed and really make your friend hate this deck.

Good times.
