My first Oathbreaker deck. With Samut, the Tested as my commander and Seize the Day as the signature spell, the goal is to smack opponents with double striking elementals in extra combat steps.

I'll update the deck as I play, but my initial concern is protecting all the relatively fragile pieces of this combo. As a there's lots of blue counter fuckery in my playgroup, I've included a lot of hexproof and counter.

Suggestions welcome, I'd like to get the deck down to 60 cards first and then edit from there.

After quite a bit of playtesting in some casual games, I realize how scary this deck can be. The redundant amount of ramp catapults me into the late game where I need the mana to drop both an elemental + seize the day ... but once that happens its pretty much game. Gaea's Revenge always seems to be in my opening hand. Red Elemental Blast surprises people quite a bit, and can even blow up lands! Very pleased with this deck thus far, I think I've honed it quite well. It can even go toe to toe with my friend's nasty Ashiok, Dream Render//Exhume deck.
