Golgari Graveyard

Casual*

Snusken

Golgari Graveyard deckThis deck utilize the graveyard in order to win. The main strategy is to throw things in the graveyard to make the cards avaliable, and at the same time buff creatures like Ghoultree, which can come into the game very early.

Strategy 1: Heavy hitters like Ghoultree and Krosan beast with Brawn in the Graveyard, giving them trample.

Strategy 2: Sacrificing big creatures like Ghoultree with Jarad, doing 10 damage to each apponent. Exquisite blood works well in this strategy, giving up to 30 life with 1 sacrifice in this combo, as i play with 2-3 others. Retrieval like Exhume etc. also make this combo possible to do multiple times in one turn.

Other combos:Erebos's emessairy + Creeping Renaissance can make emissairy huge if there are 10-20 creatures in the graveyard.

The Gitrog Monster + Dredge + emissairy can put the whole library in the graveyard in one turn. Dredge makes lands go into the graveyard, gitrog makes a draw, emissairy discards the dredge and the cycle goes on. Note: This combo is risky as the game must be won that round, although if emessairy is out, the combo above can be done as renaissancae has flashback.

How to play:Use cards like Wayfinder Satyr, and Commune with the gods in order to get cards into the graveyard. With any luck these cards include some creatures. After that the big creatures are easy to find, with self mill and retrieval, and they are cheap because of cards in the graveyard. Lategame Jarad comes into play, and sacrifices these big creatures to do some critical damage. For defence and removal there is Putrify, some murderous cuts and gnaw to the bone which can give a good amount of health. There is also exquisite blood to help the lifegain.
