This is my attempt at a Budget Mono Blue control deck. This is deck mainly consists of counter spells and returning opponents creatures long enough to get Cryptic Serpent or Curator of Mysteries out. I tried to maximize Drake Haven by including Censor and Hieroglyphic Illumination and Failed Inspection. Baral, Chief of Compliance and Curator of Mysteries allows me to cast my spells faster and to scry when I cycle which works well with Drake Haven.

I tried to avoid using any cards from the sets that are going out of standard this year. If I had more money, Torrential Gearhulk would be a good card to buy. I'm not really sure what to put in the sideboard. Maybe some more creatures for the mirror match and some Essence Scatter for aggro decks. Let me know what you think!
