Simic merfolk. As easy as it gets.

Tapping with Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca for value (cards or counters), extra untaps with Murkfiend Liege , Seedborn Muse , Quest for Renewal and Merrow Commerce . Some nice tutoring. Some protection and removal, and winning with unblockable through card:herald of the secret streams and Deepchannel Mentor or through infect with Triumph of the Hordes (I know I know, infect taboo. But it's so good and doesn't even always win the game =)

Simic Ascendancy will usually win us the game if combat is not an option.

Screw Solemnity though.

Well. That's half a year of no updates. And then, BOOM. Updates.

So there were a lot of problems with the deck. Crutches that failed, combos that were too janky, cards that just didn't work. Yeah, they're gone now. Added a lot of new stuff from RNA, WAR and some random older things.

Cosi's Trickster is a nice one drop. Edh has a lot of shuffling, so she occasionally gets to 8/8-10/10

Wanderwine Prophets is a guilty pleasure of mine. I can fuel it with tokens and surgespanner's bouncing.

Metallic Mimic is a direct change from adaptive automaton. It does more, considering it gives counters, which this deck cares about.

Murkfiend Liege and Seedborn Muse are in here for the same reason. Untapping, and retapping. Plus the liege gives another nice bonus.

Zegana, Utopian Speaker is here because trample is very, very relevant. Plus a 4/4 for 4 that replaces itself is not negligible.

Fallowsage can't ever hurt. tap three merfolk, draw two cards.

Merfolk Branchwalker is partly a filler, and partly just a value engine. Either it's a 3/2 for 2, or it draws me a land. With divining top I can usually choose which one.

Merfolk Skydiver is almost perfect. it's essentially a 2/2 flyer for 2 (a keyword which merfolk lack), and for 5 mana I can do what kumena does with 5 merfolk? Granted, I need a counter already, but trust me, that won't hurt.

Mutavault and the new Waterlogged Grove are just dead easy includes in the landbase, the new Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter is an additional cryptolith rite that hands out counters, and Simic Ascendancy is a very cheeky alt wincon.
