Sideboard

Maybeboard

Alright, so the basic idea here is to duplicate as many squirrel tokens as possible, so that the board is overrun with them. Then you could either use Coat of Arms to overpower them, or use Epic Struggle to end it quickly. But keep in mind that Coat of Arms and Parallel Evolution applies to you AND your opponent, making it risky to use against other theme/token decks. Some large, powerful creatures are added in just as a failsafe. The reason that Earthcraft is in the maybeboard is because 1.) Every squirrel deck uses it, and I want mine to be unique, and 2.) It's illegal/hard to find. I'd be glad if you shared your thoughts on the deck.

The deck itself is pretty bare-bones; mostly just generating and OPing squirrels. But you and I both know that a deck based around 1 idea is destined for failure. That's why I have a maybeboard full of potential modifications, from sacrificing land for squirrels, to making all of the squirrels have deathtouch. It's really all about personal taste. Also, the cards in the maybeboard are all set at 1 each, but you can use more. But do try to keep in mind that, while the deck is (more or less) pretty powerful, most of the cards in the deck are either illegal or joke cards. This deck is supposed to be funny and enjoyable, so don't be a Dumb Ass about it. Don't try to use it in tournaments and if you're using a card that you know full well is a joke card, don't force people to abide by the rule of the card.

Also, do try to remember that this deck is far from perfect and is open to be manipulated to your particular needs. All the cards on the mainboard are just the cards that I would recommend for the main deck. You can swap out cards however you please. Say for example, you think that Stoneforge Masterwork is kinda pointless since Alpha Status has double the effects for the same CMC, and you think Darksteel Plate would be better (since it makes armored squirrels that are INDESTRUCTABLE). You could do that, and then tell me about it so that I can change the deck to make it better. Just figured I'd restate this for people who don't understand the concept.

-Try putting Druid's Call on a Squirrel Mob, Nylea, God of the Hunt, an Archetype of Endurance, or a Krosan Beast w/ threshold if you get the chance.

-Personally, I would put Druid's Call, Alpha Status, and Stoneforge Masterwork on a Squirrel Mob, just to get the most out of it (and because it creates a giant mob of armored squirrels that populate more squirrels whenever they take damage).

-Put Squirrel Nest on Swarmyard.

-If you can get a Gaea's Cradle, it works well with Omnath, Locus of Mana.

-I was going to put Nissa, Nature's Artisan in the sideboard or maybe board, but I decided that most good decks have a planeswalker. But since she doesn't directly do anything to generate squirrels, she's not really a main part of the deck, and therefore open to be removed.

-I put Utopia Sprawl and Market Festival in there so as to get more green mana for one land, but you can also set it to white if you want to flashback Folk Medicine, or to pay for Growing Ranks.

-You probably shouldn't use Inspiring Call unless you're low on squirrels/creatures in general, or unless you can play a Symbiotic Deployment directly afterwards.

-Rock Lobster can be replaced with Paper Tiger or Scissors Lizard. I just like Rock Lobster because of the song "Rock Lobster" by the B-52's.

-Use Spidersilk Armor if your opponent throws down something with flying.

-Even though Doubling Season is in the maybeboard, I recommend that you at least try to incorporate one if you have one. I just put it in the maybeboard because it's 60 bucks a card, and no one should have to pay that much money when they can use Parallel Lives to the same effct.

-Parallel Lives and Doubling Season stack with each other, and stack by multiplying (As in Y*(2 to the X power), where X is the number of Parallel Lives/Doubling Season on the battlefield under your control, and Y is the number of tokens that would originally be put down under your control. Say, if I had 2 Parallel Lives and 1 Doubling Season, and I put down a Deranged Hermit, it would be 4(2 to the power of 3), or 32 squirrel tokens in total being put down.)

If you didn't have the patience or the literary ability to read that, here's a clip that sums it up fairly well.

Here's another.

This is just what I think of whenever I imagine how this deck would work in a serious duel between two planeswalkers in the Magic multiverse. Like, just imagine it! One planeswalker having an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and then having them fought off by thirty squirrels. I think it's funny to think about.
