All right. So as soon as I saw merfolk being spoiled this season I just knew that I had to play it. Merfoll has been one of my favorite tribes right after dragons. I've never been able to play them however due to the fact that formats other than standard are expensive. Well we got there folks and now we will be playing merfolk in standard. Three-quarters of the deck will be from ixalan cause that's where most of our things are.

We will be playing around 22-25 creatures. 22-23 lands. 12-16 other spells. I've seen a few lists go into a 3rd color but I think that tries to push this a little to far so we are going to stick with simic. However if we push into third color territory it will be black.
