Rainbow Gate rotation proof deck. Focuses on Field of the Dead and controlling the board with Gates Ablaze. It usually doesn't matter that you nuke your own guys especially if it gets you another turn to live.

The more straight forward "competitive" version uses Lava Coil in the main. For some extra shenanigans however, take out the 2 Lava Coil's for whatever else you want to try and win with. What's that you say? Want to win via self mill because you're getting multiple triggers on Guild Summit thanks to Yarok? Throw in 2 copies of Jace. Want to abuse the powers of a God? Throw in Dragon-God Bolas. Want additional board wipes and to slowly burn your opponent down? Throw in Chandra, Awakened Inferno. My personal favorite, want to turn all your 2/2 zombies into 4/4 angels? Throw in Divine Visitation. You can put any Planeswalker or other card you see fit in place of the 2 Lava Coil's.

This deck really starts going off around turn 5 or 6 provided you had a strong opening hand. This deck definitely struggles with aggro based decks unless you're able to play Gates Ablaze early. Early game control and discard based decks also bring this deck to a near standstill crawl. Over all, this deck has plenty of potency once it goes off. Post rotation, I believe this will be a strong competitor before we know everything in Throne of Eldrain.
