Hey man this deck is sweet! I'm a huge fan of Gifts Ungiven and have seen decks like this before but I really like the Bring to Light aspect of this deck, especially that it potentially gets Past in Flames with Manamorphose and the enchantments. I've gotta try this out

I really appreciate your input primalhunted! If you build this, keep me posted on your results! I'll probably keep a running W-L history in the description, once I actually take this to real tournaments!

Also, feel free to +1! ;p

Oh, and don't forget that Bring to Light for four not only can get Past in Flames, but it can also grab a Gifts Ungiven, if you need the extra tutor!

I definetly will if I do! It seems fairly skill intensive with lots of moving peices which is my kind of deck plus I still have Gifts Ungivens from SEISMIC SOULS GIFTS LOAM ~~Grindtown~~. That's a cool angle too!

Pact of Negation main or some form of backup?

Kjartan that's actually the video that inspired the name :D

Riku87 you can utilize Pact of Negation main deck. However, in my local meta, it isn't necessary.

It probably wouldn't hurt to run a couple of non-Forest lands for your nongreen cards. But I'm not exactly an expert on Storm. +1.

123katty I need to run Forests for consistent Utopia Sprawls. And all of my lands need to be basics for Early Harvests. Thanks for the +1 though I appreciate the input!!!

Overgrowth might be good here. As might Serum Visions and Rude Awakening.

I used to run Overgrowth, but double green isn't very helpful, since I always want other colors. With that said, Serum Visions becomes too risky and usually ineffective. And Rude Awakening is over costed for competitive modern. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Is this competitive? Is this better than normal storm? Not trying to be negative, just a good question to ask if you're trying to make this competitive.

AT23 says... #17

This is competitive. And it is better than normal storm in that it has more consistent wins if you know what you're doing. Normal storm, however, is easier to pilot.

ive been goldfishiing this to get the hang of it and it seems to me that u could gass out on draws quickly also I feel that empty the warrens would be great dieboard against leyline

January 23, 2016 3:02 p.m.

AT23 says... #19

You can gas out on draws. But the key is to create tutor combos for gas. Also, Echoing Truth can stop leyline no problem

I feel empty is better alt when than banefire

January 23, 2016 5:17 p.m.

AT23 says... #21

That's actually not true because Empty the Warrens will take an extra turn

January 27, 2016 11:38 a.m.

AT23 says... #23

Manamorphose, Ideas Unbound, and sometimes a few Harmonize, but only if absolutely necessary!
