Maybeboard

The centerpiece of this deck is a combo with 2 parts and 5 cards (plus your whole deck).

First, tap Gilded Lotus for 3 Red, then use 2 of that mana to activate Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key , usking Kurkesh to copy the ability of the key, and target the key and Gilded Lotus with them. Repeat for unlimited mana since you net one red mana each time, which can then be used to get other mana colors.

Now comes part 2, and the reason this combo deck is a jank one. I recommend waiting for everyone to be tapped out. Using the same method with Kurkesh and the key, Bag of Holding + Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key will give you unlimited draw and discard, which means that you finish it by using the second ability to get all exiled cards to your hand (ie, your whole deck) and then use the rest of your unlimited mana on Hazoret the Fervant to finish off of your opponents.

I built this deck around fishing for these combo pieces. There is an absurd amount of card draw in this deck because of this, and why there is a lot of mana rocks.

There are backup plans, of course. To start off, there are cards that will shuffle your graveyard into your deck. Combo pieces don't work too well if they're in your graveyard (when they aren't supposed to be). With the amount of artifact cards in this deck, I've also included targeted artifact recursion, most notably Scrap Mastery which could prove handy post-board wipe.

The next backup includes different damaging effects. I mean, why wouldn't you play Glint-Horn Buccaneer in a discard-centered deck? Angrath's Marauders + Dictate of the Twin Gods + Torbran, Thane of Red Fell Allow Hazoret to hit much MUCH harder, making the less of a need to combo off. Soul-Scar Mage allows for an interesting bit of targeted creature removal using Hazoret's ability.

There are also a few cards that just make the game harder for your opponents, like Immolation Shaman, Harsh Mentor, Repeated Reverberation, and Sundial of the Infinite to go with the cards that cause you to discard your hand at the end step. Ignorant Bliss also goes well with the end step discard hand effects because of the beauty that is the stack.

I hope you enjoy my beautiful, jank as heck creation.
