GW Tokens have always been pretty strong and with the rotation of Virulent Plague and Languish, they are even better. Splashing black for Winding Constrictor puts GW Tokens on steroids.

There are still a few board wipes to worry about but I've designed this deck to deal with them pretty well. Kozileck's Return and Flaying Tendrils are only mildly annoying since all creatures are already at least 3 toughness or can be pumped to 3 very quickly. Yaheeni's Expertise is the biggest threat to the deck but it only slows you down a little. If you are playing against black, be sure to anticipate it and create fewer tokens and opting to pump your creatures instead to 4 toughness. Heroic Intervention will protect your board against Fumigate and Radiant Flames and also your planeswalkers against removal.

This deck goes both wide and huge very quickly. Creating counters is incredibly easy and consistent in this deck. Try not to play the 1st Oath of Ajani without having a few creatures out. Nissa and Gideon are good plays for turn turn 3 & 4 so you don't need to play the oath to get them out for less mana initially. Get some Walking Balista s, Winding Constrictors & Plants out before the oath. The best way to play oath is on turn 4. Play Winding Constrictor then Oath of Ajani and every creature will get 2 counters. If you have a Nissa out as well, you can minus 2 her and give all creatures 2 more counters. 4 counters on each creature on turn 4... not bad ;). Obviously that would be the nut for this deck and it wont happen that way very often, but to maximize counters make sure you play the constrictor only when you have the ability to add counters on that turn. He will be a removal magnet once on the board. Moving counters off of Scrounging Bandar while a Constrictor is out gives the target 2 counters intead of 1. Walking Ballista provides incredible board control with all of the counters you will be able do add to it.
