A home brew I am trying out, I took a previously monoblack aggro deck Mono Black Aggro and decided to splash red mostly for War-Name Aspirant and Lightning Strike

here is the nut drawBloodstained Mire,Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, War-Name Aspirant , Bloodsoaked Champion, Tormented Hero , Boon of Erebos, Spiteful Returned

turn 1: fetch a Swamp play Bloodsoaked Champion

turn 2: draw a Bloodstained Mire fetch a Mountain attack with Bloodsoaked Champion for 2 triggering raid, play a Mountain, play War-Name Aspirant 3/2 now

turn 3: draw a Boon of Erebos play Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth attack with both and then double Boon of Erebos whatever is not blocked. then Main phase 2 play Tormented Hero They have now taken a total of 11 damage and you have taken 6

turn 4 play another land and bestow Spiteful Returned on Tormented Hero triggering heroic they lose a life. swing with everything. They take 2 from Spiteful Returned trigger they are now at 6 and are faced with another 11 damage from attacking creatures

obviously this is a perfect hand, but you would be surprised how often hand like this maybe not this perfect but just as effective are drawn
