I'm making some changes to try and allow more quick aggression.
MAIN
-2x Yeva's Forcemage - I like this card but currently too often it comes down and doesn't do what it needs to, which is enable an immediate attack that turn. Losing an elf is not great, though.
+2x Cached Defenses - I've enjoyed using this card in a few decks. It's cost efficient pump for creatures. In this deck it might allow a cheap creature to start attacking early and force a response. It doesn't add as much to the board as Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen
+
Yeva's Forcemage
, but it allows a creature to attack turn after turn. So... we'll see.
+1x Orchard Spirit - this card sneaks in for damage almost every game. I hate playing against this card. Which means I'm going to start playing it, naturally (if you can't beat 'em...).
SIDEBOARD
-1x Undergrowth Scavenger - purely in the sideboard for those mill matchups, or some aggro mirror where you need to trade creatures early (or the really good GB delve deck that nobody is playing :( ). But I doesn't need to be a four-of.
MAIN -> SIDEBOARD
3x Hornet Nest - it's good most games, and great against red or heroic, but not so great in the games where I need to beat down and I draw this card (which is all games).
SIDEBOARD -> MAIN
2x Managorger Hydra - I side this card in nearly every match and it performs great. Seems like a staple for current standard for the decks that can run it. I've had blue control decks just snap concede to this card if they can't counter it. It's a bogeyman. And alas, not an elf.
