RG Lands is a mix of two different decks: Combo and Prison. The object of the deck is to either use the combination of Thespian's Stage and Dark Depths to copy Depths with Stage and make a Marit Lage quickly. To achieve this combo, the deck plays multiple enchantments that help it play multiple lands more quickly, such as Exploration or Manabond.

The other side of the deck is a resource denial package with Ghost Quarters, Wastelands, and other utility lands to slow the opponent down, such as Tabernacle and Glacial Chasm. For both halves, the deck also utilized Life From the Loam to cycle through the deck quickly and essentially draw three cards per turn since the majority of it is lands. The rest of the deck is made up of either small creature removal that is recurable, such as the Grove/Punishing Fire combo or Molten Vortex, both of which can also be used as a win condition, albeit slower than the main combo.
