Maybeboard


My first, from scratch, EDH deck made to be versatile with elements of control and strong, efficient creatures. My ideal win condition is going for massive commander damage, while other threats are token production, combo disruption and powerful enchantments. I find myself gravitating toward a tool box deck at times.

I begrudgingly resent the term "goodstuff" for a RW EDH deck. Deck limitations are very real in this color wheel but that doesn't mean you can't make it happen, just each card needs to pull its weight even more so.

Some thoughts on the commander choice, while yes Aurelia and Gisela are each amazing in their own right, Tajic was amazing and indestructible is wonderful. Biggest downside is his lack of natural evasion and generally low OHKO potential.

I was very skeptical at first about Kalemne but doublestrike is backbreaking and vigilance will often be enough to deter most early or mid game aggression.

So after almost a year of Tajic cutting foes down I have to mix things up a bit to keep my meta off it's toes. Double strike is amazing and I find most games for people to be in actual danger from a single beater on my field.

Anger and Glory are the best, also Staff of Nin if it isn't blown up immediately does its job.
