Sideboard

Drop the Delver of Secrets  , flip the Delver of Secrets  , delve for Gurmag Angler or Tasigur, the Golden Fang, bash in.

Although this is an Esper build, it's still an aggressive style deck; due to the nature of the Delver archetype dropping a turn 2 Gurmag Angler or Tasigur, the Golden Fang. However, the deck allows for a much more tempo style of play when needed. The deck is equipped with plenty of kill spells and counter spells to take plays away from your opponent and to protect your creatures. It's also filled with Lingering Souls, of course, to build a wall of blockers or to beat face in the air. After all, Insectile Aberration   gets lonely flying around up there all by itself.

Having access to white allows for the aforementioned tempo style, packed with extra removal. Cards like Path to Exile or Lingering Souls for the wall of chump blockers or alpha strikers in the mainboard.

White also provides a lot of hate in the sideboard. Stony Silence always puts a damper on Affinity's day and Anguished Unmaking cleanly takes care of opposing Blood Moons, Leyline of the Voids, Rest in Peaces, or any other pesky artifacts or enchantments that can ruin our gameplan.
