Sideboard

It appears that Atraxa's proliferate ability is pretty good. Finally made the switch into dorks, its about time. Tangle wire should have been in here long ago, and i added static orb to giv tez a target. Winter Orb will stay in sb tho. Experimenting with the lands a bit.

UPDATE 9/26: Since I've posted this deck, we have BBD, M19, C19, and GRN. Let's see what cards from the set might be a candidate for the deck.

BBD: Battlebond Lands: Since they still can't be fetched, the new duals are worse than fetches and shocks. Still, they're probably usually better than card: blossoming marsh and Sandsteppe Citadel, maybe even City of Brass. Spellseeker: It's an interesting toolbox, grabbing a tutor or removal. (It's also a reason to run card: pull from tommorow i guess) That said, you're paying a 3 mana premium for it, and since this deck can't really abuse the body or make as much flexibility of it's tutoring, i think i'll pass on it. Last One Standing One mana off a wrath to leave something up is an inte- oh wait it'd red. Will Kenrith Even if you can't make use of its partner, this isn't a bad planeswalker. The +2 protects itself, and the -2 is at least 2 cards and 2 mana. 6 mana PWs really have to pull their weight, but this one might. (Also i guess you can use Gideon Jura as the better rowan, though any plan that requires you to have 2 pws and something on the board is not exactly worth mentioning) Arena Rector The good thing is that you'll get a better card than academy rector. The bad thing is PWs go down in value dramatically when you don't get them on your main phase, since you don't get to loyalty right away and protect it, and maybe even lose it before it does anything. Also academy rector was already on the chopping block. I guess if you have two of them you can justify a sac outlet, but the only reasonable sac outlet here is Phyrexian Tower aside from pointing your own removal at it.

M19:

Nexus of Fate: Holy shit this is what the deck wants. Sure, you pay two extra mana for it, but here's how it works. Conventionally, you play a wrath, they play another threat, you play a PW, it gets removed, then you cycle your useless extra turn spell. With nexus of fate, you hold mana up, they don't really have a target, maybe hit your face a bit, then you play nexus, then you play a PW, extra turn comes, you get another activation and the ability to play a wrath to protect your PW. The power of the nexus is even though it costs 7 mana, it gives you the power to make your opponent take two turns in a row so you can take two turns in a row. Combo decks benefit most from this, but pw + wrath or doubling season + pw or w/e is basically a combo lite. Of course permission and instant-speed removal throw a wrench in this, but it's still a good card. Nicol Bolas, the Ravager  : I feel obligated to mention this, because it is a PW, but really a lot of its value is being a 4 mana 4/4 flier, and when playing EDH, especially with a defensive deck with a 4 mana 4/4 commander, a 4/4 flier is not where you want to be. So that's why i'm not even considering it, aside from it being you know, not even in-color. Shame tbh. I'd love to play against superfriends decks that put this suboptimal card in their deck.

C19: Aminatou, the Fateshifter: I think this card has one of the worst-written backstories of the PWs. But we're judging on gameplay, not flavor. How good is aminatou? Generally 3 mana PWs are pretty good if they do something (see: LotV, I'd mention Dack but he's so good in EDH he'd prolly see play at 4 CMC) Aminatou's +1 is basically a bad brainstorm, but the virtual card advantage is the same as Jace Beleren's -1, so it's not that bad. As a card, Aminatou is really made or broken by that -1. Now we don't have lots of EtBs like you need with venser, but read carefully and you'll notice it's a blink, not a flicker. That means that it's always at least as good as our best other PW's -. I think it probably makes it. Forge of Heroes: I have no idea why this is in EDHREC's top list because this is a worse opal palace, and opal palace is a pretty bad card unless you're animar (or marchesa. or..). (In which case you might want this for redundancy, but it's still bad)

card: windgrace's judgement: I get that it hits all opponents, but I really would rather be paying 3 mana than 5 for this kind of effect.

Coveted Jewel: Gilded lotus isn't that bad a card, and tacking on 3 cards for 1 mana makes it a sweet deal. If not for the drawback. But still. One: if you're being attacked, thats not an attack at a PW and Two: Atraxa can probably take it back. The exchange probably helps you if you're only doing it with one other person, but hurts you if everyone on the table gets to share in it, one because everyone gets your mana and two because you have the best card draw, so giving everyone card draw isn't where you want to be. It's interesting choice, but I think I'd rather just be playing a PW on 6.

Genesis Storm: BAMs are kinda bad in commander because you only get one copy of the payoff, but this deck seems to incidentally work with it. Looking at the permanents in this deck, if you get two copies of this spell, you're probably getting your mana's worth. Except for the part about getting the wrong high-value card for the current board state. It gets better with topdeck manipulation, which we have. Again, an interesting choice.

Magus of the Balance: Hey, nowhere does it say planeswalker on it! It's not as good as jokulhaups since it can get removed and leaves players with lands, but is arguably better than armageddon because it clears creatures, but is also arguably worse because it leaves players with lands (and can be removed, and costs more mana.) The removability is what I really don't like about it. I think it's probably straight up worse than disk in that regard, so pass here.

GRN: Vraska, Golgari Queen: 4 mana with a - removal ability isn't bad, but it doesn't really do much else, and can only - once. Which makes it bad. Jace is a 4 mana with removal, and brainstorms every turn if you don't need removal. Now that's good. You can make an argument that Vraska would be worse in this deck than LotV even if it costed 3, and while LotV is a great card, it's not by enough to make up a 1 mana difference. Assassin's Trophy: This card is where we want to be. This card is to Vindicate as Path to Exile is to say, um, Oust? Now Vindicate is already a good card, so I figure adding path and subtracting oust makes it even better.

That said, GRN has a lot of other great cards, they just don't fit in this archetype, but i'm looking forward to playing them in other decks.

EDIT: Finally updated it!
