It's my first deck, but so far it's unbeaten in casual games even against much more expensive decks. It's focused on getting defenses out quickly, then enchantments, and enough counterspells to prevent my cards from being destroyed.

My main combos areDefense: Jace's Phantasm + Kraken Hatchling + Whelming Wave Milling: Dictate of Kruphix + Jace's Archivist + Sphinx's Tutelage

I've also added a lot of counters, and a lot of drawing spells. Since a lot of my cards have small mana cost, and since my deck is focused on drawing a lot of cards, I reduced the lands to 15.

I have a Jace, Memory Adept but he's not necessary for this deck to work, and it's more fun to play without.
