Me and my play group have begun playing modern together and have set a 20$ cap on our decks just so we don't get too competitive and go spending 400$ on a modern deck. This deck hopes to use the Splicer cycle recently reprinted in MM2017 backed up by some ramp so we can pump out our 3/3 Golem tokens fast and often. This is then followed by some spells that take advantage of the fact that we use lots of artifacts and topped off by Conjurer's Closet to help get us out of board stalls. The deck may not be competitive enough to bring to a Grand Prix or SCH Open but it is really fun to play against some friends or at your LGS.
