Friend of mine is building one of these; I love the play-style and feel of it; so i was inspired to throw my own together; and I found you could build this to be very focused for about $20.

You use Maralen of the Mornsong to draw Ad Nauseam . You cast Ad Nauseam (turn five), drawing your deck out, costing you 10 life so far. You go ahead and drop Spellbook to hold onto your hand (of about 90 cards) for a turn, and go ahead and drop the Dark Sphere just in case. You cast your Skirge Familiar (turn six) out, then discard 42?-52? swamps to fuel a board clearing Exsanguinate, netting you all the life and killing everybody.

Now, in exchange for running you about twenty bucks, this deck could definitely use a few cards here and there to shore up some weaknesses. For starters, if literally anything goes wrong you lose. There are many variations of this deck, some utilizing Sickening Dreams or Tendrils of Agony as the win conditions, providing other wincons and utilities besides the ENTIRE DECK HINGING ON SOME ONE-NOTE, ONE-TRICK, WOMBO-COMBO-BULLS#!%, however, they also cost way more to build, which escapes the point of a $20 EDH-viable deck. It is a turn six win as is.
