As Alfred said to Batman "Some people just want to watch the world burn."

Many decks in my playgroup are slower decks that generate a lot of value over time (Meren of Clan Nel Toth or Karametra, God of Harvests). To combat that advantage I am trying to burn and kill everyone as quickly and painfully as possible. That forces other players to either rush their gameplan which will result in suboptimal plays in turn hopefully giving me an advantage. Or it forces them to squander resources to take me out which in turn will force them to make suboptimal plays... Spotremoval and Counterspells are mainly there to deal with problems that could hinder my gameplan - seldom to disrupt opponents gameplan. Everyone can have their critters and stuff so long as I'm able to do my thing. Everyone gets extra cards. In a way this is a group hug deck as it allows everybody at the table to play the game. No oppressive counter magic, no discard (like Nath), no endless attrition (like Meren). It simply forces everyone to do their thing faster. Cyclonic Rift and Damnation are the only safety nets when I just need that one turn more to win. Although honestly I'm not here to win which is my main advantage. I can squander my resources without a second thought when it allows me to do something dumb and painful to the table.

So far it works quite well with life totals in single digits by turn 6, a win through locust tokens and several hilariously painful turns where I dealt 14 damage to a player simply by playing Windfall with Fate Unraveler and Spiteful Visions in play.
