Unrevised Alesha, Who Smiles at Infinity

Commander / EDH* Infinite Combo RBW (Mardu)

This is my Alesha toolbox deck. I have been playing with this deck for quite a while now, and would like to share what I've come up with. I originally built this deck with 37 infinite combos and a greater variety of answers than was truly necessary. Nowadays this performs much more consistantly.

The main basis of the deck is to hold onto answers to keep your enemies from getting ahead throughout the game while preparing for an infinite win. This deck relies less on stacking its grave, and more on tutoring for its win conditions.

How you use a deck like this depends heavily on your playgroup. The combos should be the same for anyone, but the answers that you include and your style of play will change based on who you play with. If you see a lot of grave hate in your meta you may need to include more non-creature removal. If you see a lot of aggro in your meta you may also want more protection cards, like Maze of Ith or Ghostly Prison.

There are a variety of combo options in this deck, but I will list the ones that I use here:

reveillark + karmic guide + sac outlet = return every creature in your grave to battlefield an infinite number of times.

This can go off a few ways, but usually you will leave reveillark in your grave, then you cast karmic guide to begin the loop. When you cast karmic guide it's trigger goes on the stack targeting reveillark - then you sacrifice karmic guide to put it in the grave - then you sac reveillark as soon as it enters to bring back the karmic guide and one other creature. Repeating this can bring every creature in your grave back to the battlefield, allowing you to kill them off and repeat their etb triggers endlessly.

Kiki-Jiki mirror breaker + karmic guide + sac outlet = infinite flying hasted angels.

This works by tapping kiki-jiki to make a clone of karmic guide, then saccing kiki-jiki so that he can be targeted once the karmic guide clone enters. Once the karmic guide clone brings him back, you just use kiki-jiki's haste to do it again... and again. It is worth noting that if you don't have an offensive sac outlet like altar of dementia or another card that punishes people on etb, such as purphoros or impact tremors, then it is often best to start this combo with a reanimator OTHER than alesha. If you do not, then you will have already used your combat to begin the combo, forcing you to survive a turn before you can win.

Kiki-jiki + felidar guardian = infinite hasted cats.

This combo is super simple! Felidar enters and bounces... idk, something. Then kiki-jiki taps to copy the felidar, who then bounces kiki-jiki. Kiki-jiki then taps to make another cat clone as many times as you see fit. easy peasy.

Felidar Guardian + Karmic guide + a sac outlet = infinite etb/death triggers

A less efficient version of the above two combos, but effective enough in a pinch. You cast felidar - select karmic guide as a target for the etb trigger - then hold priority and respond to your own trigger by saccing felidar guardian - then when karmic guide enters again you target felidar and repeat infinitely. This combo achieves no other affect than giving you infinite triggers of other cards. If you have a card like purphoros, or altar of dementia then you can use this to win.

Murderous redcap + anafenza, kin-tree spirit + a sac outlet = infinite damage.

Whenever these two are both on the board, simply sacrifice murderous redcap - he comes back automatically with a -1/-1 counter from his ability, and a +1/+1 from Anafenza's ability - the two counters offset each other so that he actually enters with no counters at all - repeat until satisfied.

There are still quite a few other possibilities, but these are the ones that I recommend going for, as they are efficient, compact, and resilient... sorta :)
