This deck is meant to be a competitive Boros Burn deck.

Main Body

The main body of this deck consists of red direct damage spells, which includes Lightning Bolt and it's equivalents Rift Bolt and Lava Spike, as well as a few more utilitarian spells like Boros Charm and Lightning Helix. These spells also serve a secondary purpose of activating prowess triggers on Monastery Swiftspear, and can also destroy some combo pieces. Searing Blaze is great for creature removal, and has the added bonus of smacking face as well.

Sideboard

The sideboard of the deck runs 4 copies of Destructive Revelry and 1 Kataki, War's Wage for artifact/enchantment destruction. 2 copies of Deflecting Palm serve as deterrent against ramp decks, while 3 copies of Kor Firewalker give the deck an upper hand in matches against other red decks. 2 copies of Sudden Shock get unstoppable damage through control decks, and 3 copies of Path to Exile serve as spot removal.
