Went X-1 in regular rounds of 4 and then we cut top 4 and i ended up getting 1st winning out in finals.

Rnd 1 I face Jeskai Delver and lost 1-2. This is a deck i built and lent to a friend, its a jeskai build with some burn spells like Boros Charm, Lightning Helix and Lightning Bolt with Delver of Secrets  Flip and Snapcaster Mage. A burn deck with tempo and some control can either be in my favor or go against me, it depends how fast i can turn the corner. In this case i couldnt take him into the long game and he won. It doesnt feel bad to lose to your own deck.

Rnd 2 I faced Running with Scissors Affinity and won 2-0. I think affinity should be a good match up for me because of the amount of removal i run in my list. They can go under and beat me. I had early disruption and discard with a couple of gofys for the win in game 1 and then game 2 I had all the removals they couldnt get going.

Rnd 3 I faced Tempered Steel Affinity and won 2-1. I think affinity should be a good match up for me but its a bad match up when i dont see removal like i did in game 1 but games 2 and 3 i drew a good amount of removal which is there bane. It is a rough match when i dont hit the removal but i feel favored by a long shot when i do.

Rnd 4 I faced Bogles and won 2-0. So bogles is weak to B/G/X decks that play discard and liliana, the thing is I dont own that liliana. So it is a bit rough for me but i do pretty good against them when i have discard. In game 2 i kept a hand with 4 discard spells a Abrupt Decay and a Mishra's Bauble, scry land on top on the draw. I curved out like a luck sack and won but with 4 discard spells they couldnt do much. they also kept a sketchy hand.

Top 4

Rnd 1(Semis) I Faced my jeskai deck, but we went to the long game in games 1 and 3 and i did very well. It didnt look good for me, i got lucky by fading a few a burn spells and my opponent stumbling in the early game in game 3. I know its not a control deck so it doesnt run heavy on counters which mess me up but they do run burn spells that can burn me out. Either way i won in the late game.

Rnd 2(Finals) I faced Burn and won 2-1. This is a experienced burn player and i dont care what anyone says, a burn deck with a pilot who is very well versed in the burn strategy is a completely different animal than any joe shmo playing burn. The skill translates big time in this strategy, I know its not going to be easy. Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek but mainly IOK becomes interesting in this match up, simply because of what burn spells to get. this wasnt an easy match up for me because i do have lifegain but not a whole lot of it. there was also a moment in game 3 where they had a Rest in Peace and i wasnt sure if i should kill a creature with A-Decay or the RIP, but i choose the creature because it can be incremental damage. also I choose to go to 4 from 6 to kill a Eidolon of the Great Revel, I needed 2 turns to fade a Boros Charm and i did, it was luck.
