This is my Canadian Highlander Pattern Rector deck. Point cards are Demonic Tutor, Protean Hulk, Survival of the Fittest, and Birthing Pod.

I came to the decision to terminate my EDH deck, which I originally built four years earlier. This deck is essentially made from the recycled parts of that deck. At first I wasn't sure if I'd keep it around, but I'm very fond of it and I figure someone has got to keep the torch alive for the classic Academy Rector + Pattern of Rebirth combo. So it might as well be me.

Following the advent of Arena Rector, this became a Double Rector deck. Double your trouble. Double your fun. Double your Rectors. Arena Rector doesn't set up infinite loops with Pattern of Rebirth and isn't quite as versatile as the older Rector, but having a four-drop creature that cheats Ugin onto the battlefield from my library when it dies is pretty good.
